Old town budva is just a few steps away. Close to a beach. Free WiFi available in the rooms...

The sunny balcony was a plus of the apartment. Not far from Tivat airport, 20 km. The venue was 10 minutes walk from Becicka plaza and it was good for us.

The balcony is spacious and perfect for relaxing. It's conveniently located near aquapark Budva and other attractions. The accommodation provided everything we needed. We were able to enjoy free Wi-Fi in our room.

We felt that Villa San Marco offered outstanding value for money, above all. The room was a small and modestly appointed self-service studio, but met all of our basic needs at a cost well below anything else we could find. The studio easily fit two (I.E. a young couple), and could fit three with a squeeze (I.E. a young couple with a child). We had a decent-sized balcony with a distant view of the sea, which we found very pleasant to use at breakfast and dinnertime. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and though they only spoke Serbian well (they knew a little English and Russian), a member of staff was able to answer all of the questions that we had beforehand via email in very functional English. The premises are just a short walk from the beach, with a small shop and restaurants close nearby, as well as a bus stop where taxis are also available. I would stress that the service and furnishings are very minimal, but more than adequate for travelers on a budget, and offer very good value for money.
It is difficult to criticize much about such a basic, low-cost offering, but I will note a few things that I think would make the experience better. The addition of a sunshade on the balcony would help keep the room cooler during the day (and likely help the owners reduce costs for cooling). Some improvements to the plumbing could help eliminate any occasional odor in the kitchenette/ bathroom and increase water pressure in the sinks/shower. Fitted sheets on the bed would also be nice.

Good value for money, wonderful managers
Signage to motel non-existent - hard to find. No lift - carry bags up 4 levels. Access a rough dirt track but was in precess of being sealed.

the studio room was clean and adequately furnished and cheaper than surrounding accomadation.
the owner and staff spoke no English and was overly insistent on payment upfront. Parking and access to the villa was on a dirt track, directions were very inadequate but, worst of all, was the distance from the beach is far further than the advertised 400meters and the owner's insistence on payment despite this.

we got to follow the owner in his car to the house as it would have been difficult to find otherwise.
We carried heavey baggage up many stairs. Owners did not speak any English. Too far to walk to Budva old town.

It's cheap... :)
They clean up room, change towels and toilet paper once a week. On a side wall of the hotel hornets made their hive and terrorized guests, but the owner didnt seem to care... Low water pressure in the tub, noisy air con and the hotel is at least 1 kilometer away from the sea, not 400 meters as they say in the ad.

Difficult to find the hotel. Last 100-200m of the road to the hotel are awfull, you should drive very carefully. The room was too small for 3 persons. The airconditioning device in the room didn't work. Very bad smell in the bathroom. No internet access in the room (I didn't check elsewhere). Slightly overpriced for what it offers but still one of cheapest possibilities in the area.

Good people, big balcony
small room, steep stairs, poor road for cars
